ASK (Allergy Support for Kids) is proud to announce the kick off of our first meeting! On Wednesday, September 12th from 6:30 – 8:30, we will be meeting at the Lake Villa Township Library (1001 East Grand Avenue, Lake Villa, IL 60046 (847) 356-7711). This is an informal get together/ meet and greet. Please bring an allergy friendly recipe and share creative ideas for school lunches. We will be talking about ways for kids to stay safe at school, lunch ideas and other ways to deal with life threatening food allergies and other anaphylactic allergies. Several food allergy-friendly food vendors have graciously donated samples of their products to try.
